On my way to holy Kitchen of Bangla Sahib I saw a person taking wheelchair inside. When I entered the cooking area of the kitchen I saw him assisting a very old lady who used walker stick to take those few steps to reach wheelchair. The dedication that she had towards her service to God was just commendable. At an age of probably 80 plus she still thought of extending her services in holy kitchen while many youngsters like us would just visit the Gurudwara and leave for the day. The passion that the old lady displayed was a true inspiration of age being no bar to practice what you really enjoyed and what gave you sense of accomplishment. All it takes, is just your will to perform what you desire, this will power becomes your strength that is enough in itself to aid you achieve your goals. Even if you look back at home you would realize that your grandparents are still more energetic than what you are today, they don’t back out from hard work. They have better focus in life and concentrate on what they want unlike us who’s focuses are divided in multiple things and hence we are master of none. Can you look back and identify just one passion that keeps you moving every day?
