Are we smartworld ready
I often feel stuck in the web of the newborn smart world. When I see kids of this generation, I see impatience, I see the hurriedness to complete task, quality doesn’t seem to be an important factor. While schools are adapting ways to inculcate teamwork and other crucial skills in kids, our kids seem to be lost in the hurdle of proving themselves as an individual. Who is to be blamed for such attitude? The competition that we have created as part of society has pulled children back more than giving opportunities for them to grow. What our kids face as pressure today is the resultant of struggle that elderlies face in creating a balance between Smart Work and Hard work. At one hand we complain of them loosing their childhood and innocence and at the other hand we pressurize them to be mature enough to handle situations on their own and expect them to start getting future ready since teenage. It is for our generation to first strike a balance and learn from changing circumstances before we start imposing the smart world on our kids with a ground principle of hard work that we have been following for ages.
