Relationships
Arguments

As I spent the entire day at home today, there were different observations that I made to current affairs at home. It is common to have conflicts in opinions of different people and the more number of members at home higher are the chances of arguments rising up. While I invested my time in doing some work one such situation arose where sarcasm was pointed towards me. For a moment I was tempted enough to cross question the statement and wanted the person to rather say what was meant by the statement made and also that the statement was just being thrown without any substantial reason or occurrence of any such scenario, but within few seconds hardly two or three I decided that I don’t want to waste my energies into proving myself right and initiating a discussion here which would rather become an argument within a minute. I had better things to do then adding to negativity which had took place due to not meeting expectations and lack of proper communication.

After few minutes when there was no reaction to words the person who originated the web was quiet and the situation was defused. Then is when I realized that winning is not just about leading an argument and coming out with flying colors, but it is also succeeding in defusing a prospective argument and initiating peace. Let me tell you though my intentions were absolutely selfish here; that I wanted to maintain my inner peace but people around me were also in list of benefiters.
