Beautiful End

This blog is in continuation to my blog on “meditation” and “end” I have often spoken about new beginnings in many of my blogs, until today when I realized the importance of end. In search of understanding what meditation is and seeking answers through my own experience I stood in the balcony next to my room, it was not the early morning but early afternoon, if you think that it was wrong time, I would say that there is no specific right time for meditation. For we can’t constraint selves with timings. Life today has become as hectic as we have made it and we have long forgotten the rules of sleeping on time and waking up early. As I enjoyed the winter chill, I could manage to cut through my surroundings for just few seconds and not more than that. My mind starting reacting to surroundings and then I realized that one aim of meditation is probably to stop our minds reactions and also have control over our actions. These few minutes definitely came across as most fruitful minutes of my day till now.

Coming back to the end which I was talking about in the beginning, I saw a feather sailing in air, it looked amazingly beautiful and made me smile, I cherished the moment and also realized that the feather was on its last journey, it had liberated from its body and soul but yet it could make others admire its beauty and not make any one sad. While life ends only once but they are many ends that come across in our daily lives. Can you attempt to make each end equally beautiful. None of us can succeed in it immediately, but can we take a conscious decision to attempt?
