Passing by the years, I have lost all my fears; we have shared it all; smiles and tears.
Was it play of Destiny that bought us along, or just the right decision of our parents, that resulted in marriage prolong.
When I first met you, everything was so new, questions were many but answers were few. There wasn’t rain of love, but emotions like dew.
We spoke with care, discussions were rare. It started with trust and understanding with nothing else to spare.
When we first became friends, our life followed new trends, we were surprised to see melody of our thoughts; how easily it blends.
We were in no hurry, there was lifetime ahead, and there is nothing to worry. We learnt positives of our differences, negatives were too burry.
Then came that moment from where we rose in LOVE, holding each-others hands, understanding promises unsaid we secured them with trusts glove.
They were of course moments of Pain, when everything looked insane. Just the togetherness of us poured everything in drain.
Passing the test of time, we touched each other’s soul, and then is when our family became whole. Pillars of our dreams touched pole to pole.
Their came new responsibilities to test our ability, mistakes that we made were more to learn and less to feel guilty.
As years passed by there is nothing to regret, every new challenge looks like a new fret, and there is nothing to lose only experiences to get.
It’s our mutual sacrifice that made home paradise, since we never blamed each other, there is nothing to disguise.
Our grown up kids, our age years above mid’s, time to look into jackpot again, check what destiny bids.
Has come the age to retire, to fulfill our desire, stress of our life; is now all to fire. Whatever life offers, only peace to hire.
Our kids are all married, busy in their new play, when they miss us a lot they call us to stay. We go running to them without any delay.
When grand children come running and open the door, life becomes greedy and asks for years some more. Let’s play new innings, touch new heights and build up new score.
