Relationships
Diagram of Relationships

Many of us often miss the chance to sit with our elderlies and hence often forget how much we can learn through their experiences and their thought processes. While it’s not necessary that what worked for them would work for you as well but yes it definitely adds to one more possible solution top your challenges in life. Larger basket of options would lead to deeper analysis and you would eventually get closer to right solutions. I got a chance to visit my paternal Grandparents yesterday, where I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation with my paternal grandfather. He was speaking about his relation of 58 years with his wife and shared his experience as to how he kept things simple. Like every relation they too had their shares of up and down but what kept them together was their love and understanding for each other he explained it beautifully with an example of a Venn diagram where “A” and “B” are two sets, here lets assume they are two people, what keeps these two people together is the intersection of A and B that is the common thoughts, understanding, love care and all other positive and developmental thoughts that they share however since they have a larger responsibility with the union of A and B it should be clear that what is your responsibility and let the other person deal with his/her responsibility and have no interference in other persons zone until asked for assistance. It’s important to define and respect other persons comfort zone and stop unnecessary questioning and analysis of each other’s comfort zone. This zone can be defined as Not A and Not B for e.g. which means the whole of A minus the intersection of A and B is not the zone of B and hence B should stay away from it.

Did you ever realize how simple studies make lot of sense in personal lives as well? I am amazingly surprised with such beautiful logics.
