Greetings
HAPPY DIWALI to all of you and your near and dear ones, I don’t really know how did gift exchanging started and who was the foolish one to take it steps ahead and it became a status symbol, as far as I know the symbolism of Diwali is to celebrate the welcoming of Lord Ram along with Sita Maiya and Shri Laxman. While over a period of time I have seen many religions celebrating Diwali in their own ways, its again little confusing for me, because if we were just celebrating the return of these great people then how did the significance of Goddess Laxmi and God Ganesh come in picture. Someone please help me seek an answer, any way lets come to the learning of the day. As I woke up in morning and checked my message box I was glad to see many messages and I started replying to each one. Then I thought it was my turn to call elderlies and other loved ones. While I was wishing each and every one I really wanted to and the ones who impact my life one way or the other I realized that they were two kinds of greetings that flow around, one out of love and heartily greetings and one was courtesy greeting. While we all choose to invest our time in wishing all, it actually helps us analyze whom do we actually care for and vice versa.
