A wonderful evening in Gurudwara, what else could have I asked for eternal peace. A ritual that I have started following since last three days brings immense sense of satisfaction. One observation that has been tickling my mind is the ritual of reading holy books and other holy phrases as part of daily routine, I myself have been following few such rituals over the years, today as I get an opportunity to read a new holy book that I have heard about for long, I could register nothing and it all looked as a dictation to self. After reading the book I felt the urge to know the meaning of it, for shouldn’t we know what it means and how it creates positive impact on us. Many of us practice this blindly either by self or see our loved ones following this. Any of these would make a stronger impact when we understand and register what we read rather then just passing by few pages.
Second thing that I noticed today was a step towards a better habit, I did get distracted many a times while reading the book and rather than choosing to continue reading it as I used to do earlier, I choose to take a brake close my eyes and pray to God to give me the power to concentrate and take all doubts of my mind.
