Today’s blog is in continuation with my yesterday’s blog on Holy Book’s, having been mentioning the urge to know the meaning of the book I read, it becomes a responsibility towards self to search for it. I did manage to search for the meaning of it and could now relate to the lines that I now read for the second time. while searching for the meaning I also got a chance to see few questions that people have asked about the book and were seeking clarification on and from there came the inspiration to write this blog.
Most of us read these books on a faith that these would fulfill our desires, these books and phrases are either suggested by others or we develop a strong faith by self that following certain rituals and reciting these phrases would help us find solution. I am not questioning the power of any of these practices or the miracle that Holy books can do, but am just requesting you to leave the preview and have a better view. Many holy books like; The Veda’s, the Bible,Shree Sai Satcharitra The Geeta, The Mahabarat, The Ramayana, Shri Guru Granth Sahib, The Quran and many other books that I am unaware of or fail to recall at this moment as I write this blog, can create only those miracle’s that are in our thought processes or lie in our subconscious mind. All these books have the power to create positivity and help us control our mind once we start concentrating better on them. These books are living examples of how situations were handled by the great people who represent God or are a form of God in Self. They had set standards of how a healthy living should be and how should our thought process be towards the life and its tests.
They might not fulfill all our desires within a time frame, but definitely teach us to feel content in what we have. They give us the power to concentrate better and understand the real values of life and the valuables that we should possess. They give us the power to differentiate the momentary happiness created by materialistic things and help us achieve eternal happiness. Therefore it is desired once again that we understand what we read and have faith in selves that these books would be our mentor and guide us through life, it is only a myth that mere reciting of these holy books would fulfill our desires.
