They say ignorance is bliss but can it be applicable to all fields? Or every phase of life? there is no statement that can be true for all scenarios, or let me phrase it the other way round no statements can mean the same in all situations, it is for us to judge it according to situations and then apply the logic. After I finished reading holy book in Gurudwara I started observing my surroundings and found kids roaming around without their head covered, it is a ritual to be followed to cover the head before you enter premises as it is said to be a way of showing respect to your Guru. I didn’t understand that how were parents so ignorant to this fact. It was not that they didn’t know about the ritual as they had their heads covered, then why were they not correcting their children or explaining them the need of following a ritual. We often ignore small mistakes of children thinking that they can be excused as they are kids, we often also don’t answer them back right when they ask us questions, this is the worst mistake a parent can do, for you might not realize but this ignorant attitude of yours would create a care free attitude in child. This might also end up into wrong perceptions in a child’s mind. In such scenario ignorance can be fateful and not bliss.
