I was certain this one would come at wee hours. That’s when the working mother turns to be a self centric woman, for few minutes or hardly an hour. For most of us the hustle of life takes a rest. This is when we try to find ourselves back in the lost world which will never be like before but will always be beautiful in it’s on way.
It took me around ten months to find some time to write this down- this is just one of the ways in which I can describe the life of a working mother. In each one of us lives that lady who is always lost between the tough choice of building our own career or shaping life of our child. The tug of war between our dreams and that of our child often brings the best in us. Birth of our child gives us the new title- Super woman. The ones raising their kids at home whole heartedly are equally respectful, for they have given away a lot with a smile. They are strong enough to silently and thanklessly live up to the identity of God on earth. The form which has selflessness , sacrifices and success of motherhood. The trophy of a working mother lies in the eyes of the child. Those eyes that look with pride and smile at the confidence of a working mother, that conversation in which the child proudly talks about her/his mother. The pride with which they look up to us and not just their fathers to find solutions makes our reduced sleep more powerful.
When you wake up in the morning remember to look into the mirror and salute that bold and beautiful one whom you see. First of all you deserve your own love and appreciation.
