I would start this blog with two incidents that inspired me to write it, First- a conversation with my friend included the beginning of Navratara’s and the diet plan that came ahead, it came across as vegetarian week and my friend chose to delight his taste buds with chicken before this week started. Second- When I reached home after work I saw my cousin feasting her taste buds to Chinese food as she would be following the rituals of fasting and would hence abstain from such food. One common observation that I could read here was that both of them knew what coming days would be like and what they would miss and hence chose to enjoy and practice what they liked .
When we can be so analytical in life for certain things and tune our mind accordingly, I am sure we can chose to be a little more analytical and decide that every moment of our life is lived just for once and hence we should live it to best. All we need is a little tuning of our mind and frequent reminders to ourselves that present is the only moment and rest is just memory or illusion. They would be many other things and not just food that we want to enjoy always but if this is the source of inspiration we might as well start from it and apply the same logics to other important things in life and value all that we have today, for tomorrow is just uncertain.
