It was my first racing championship, thanks to you my friend; what was it expected to be, I wasn’t sure. I was excited and ready to enjoy the day. Taking it as one opportunity that life had offered.
Nothing was too exciting when the first race started, from the newspaper of the day before I knew who had been the new leader and emerged as strong candidate, my expectations were to see his skills.
As the race moved laps per laps the leader turned up to be at 4th, I don’t know what wa sit that he felt, but I felt sorry to lay down un analyzed expectation.
As passed race two and came race three he started and moved to number two, then is when the interest developed back. I and people around me wanted him to win, there crossed 3 more lap’s with his lap timings improving with few seconds every time. yet he was on number two and then came the moment between lap 4 and 5 where he came really close and crossed by number one in front of Grand Stand and all out there started cheering him up and saluting him. What was it that he had done to win so many hearts, why want any one excited to see number one holding the position he held at starting of the race. This is a silent question that I leave you to answer yourself.
I found my answers, success doesn’t come in a jump, it’s the small little steps towards your goal that help you succeed. It’s the believe in self that helps you lead. It’s the competition with yourself that makes you a better person every day. A true leader just performs irrespective of position. He performs for self and challenges himself at every mode.
