Navratri- Nine nights, a nine day long festival that is celebrated across the country in different forms and beliefs is followed by Vijay Dashmi ( Dussehra). During these nine  days while few observe fasting the other set of people believe in feasting. Few stop consuming onion and garlic while others continue to eat non-vegetarian. Few focus on meditation and devotion, others believe in art and display of emotions in various other forms. Garbha, Dandiya, Jagran, Kirtan, Puja, Bhandara, Daan...and many such Rituals make these nine days and nights the most powerful. What is common in so diversed celebration? Apart from unity that it brings people celebrate the power that a woman possesses. The power through which she protects and destroys..the power of love and sacrifice. The power of reincarnation and demise.. The power that people can feel, be it foolish or wise.. There is much more to the days and nights, to the earthen lamps and long running lights.. There is a world in this word and the word is Mother, "MAA". Aap sabhi ko Vijay Dashmi par Gyaan ki Praapti ho.
