How often do we practice procrastination? How many times have we cut on source of distraction rather than learning how to handle it? While handling situations these ways may give us temporary relaxation but they will never give us permanent solutions. We don’t even realize how and when it becomes a way of handling situations, except for the cases where you are being monitored and would probably be confronted. These acts are often a resultant of how we have been handling things since childhood.
The smallest of task pending at our side for our action is an indicator of mis-management. Small changes made on a personal front can assist us in better management at work as well.
How often do we take out things off our to do list because they are redundant now? How many follow ups did we close without getting a closure?
While this might sound difficult for grown-ups, many of us are yet to be in a habit of placing things back to where they are meant to be. How many of us look back to the money that we invested and check if there is a switch required in investment? When did we last update details proactively before the non-KYC update resulted in stopping us from taking actions. How many of us have a valid voter ID for the constituency we live in? When did we last read our bill and check it before paying it blindly via auto pay?
Time is the best resource when utilised and a killer when left idle. Prefer walking a mile than carrying a pile.
