After spending considerable time in thinking as to what do I want to write today I finally manage to gather my various thoughts and observations in a single blog. I am yet to think on the title as I write the blog but am certain that till I reach the end I would be sure of the title as well. An important project of mine comes to an end today, with all the hard work put in, right guidance, assistance of various people, varying attitudes of people around me and most important by grace of almighty it shaped out to be a success. This journey of 6 months has been very interesting, from experiencing the faith of my boss on me and to consider me capable of handling such project, learning processes, understanding the concepts of safety, analyzing things in a new manner, to being corrected from over analyzing things towards the end every moment had something new to offer. They were times when I felt really worth full and times when things got extended and I felt less productive. They were difference in opinions but each one thought something new, they were situations where you were required to be a team player and times when you were expected to lead things on own. There was responsibility and accountability, there were self-analyzed failures and analysis of how things can be done better and they were efforts to make a winning team. While assistance was given when required but there were times when being left alone made me stronger and helped me develop inter personal skills. I realized the importance of to do list and regular follow up’s. also understood how people perform under pressure, learnt to be a little more patient, learnt to deal with situations in better manner and accept the moments of truth. These moments were followed by less explanations and more acknowledgments which only meant that my thresh to accept feedback, handle pressure and reactions were more logical than ever. Last but not the least, came the healthy attitude of expression gratitude with open heart and ensue that credibility goes to every person who certainly deserved it. Learning graph doesn’t end with the project but has taken a new shape now, the need of self-analysis and how things could be done better is a bitter test but would give best results only when I am open minded to the feedback. While the concept of revision was picked from times of school and college there also came acceptance to what limitations are and to accept what you have and display the best of what you possess.
You may or may not find learning’s here depending on your vision and perception towards this blog. The truth is that whenever I read this back I would be able to relate to 6 months of learning and professional development. Something else that I learnt was to balance family and professional life. I learnt that stressing self wouldn’t help and its important to have adequate rest.
