Very often we come across Facebook tests which add some meaning to our name, photo and/or add any adjective to our personal details like date of birth, anniversary date, strangely trying to solve the mystery of what we were in our last birth? who is our soul mate? what should be our job profile etc? I too curiously participate in few of these tests, mostly for fun. Interestingly women are seen posting these tests more often. While few of the test results just make me laugh others also make me think of different personality types. I try to understand human psychology here without being judgemental.
It is my belief that we tend to choose such technical reassurances when we find that something is missing in our lives. At times such tests work as quick doze of smile/ confidence depending on the category. While we enjoy these tests It is important to remember that these results are just an outcome of few algorithms designed on basis of studies done on different group of people and the characteristics that are commonly observed. Such study may also be based on the trends/ keywords derived on basis of observing our posts, pictures and words used as part of status updates. Hence when you actually want to look for practical and stronger solutions, then have faith on the strength that comes from within. This strength comes in form of inner voice and Positive thoughts, when they come you need to ensure that they are not faded away with the fear that your mind creates. Catch hold of them with higher dedication and belief.
When you look back to challenges of past and introspect you would realize that you always had a guiding voice coming in from within, all you had to do was to absorb it from midst the noise that was created outside. It was always only you who took the final call even if it was a resultant of an influence from outside.
Know yourself better through your own self, not through others and their words, for you want to see yourself as a fact and not a resultant of a perception.
