Selling God or buying fear

Inspiration for today’s blog comes from two advertisements that I saw on a TV channel, both included sale of a pendant from two different religions. Both religions were connecting their respective Forms of God with the pendant and showing people that how wearing that pendant can change life, to support their statement they showed certain people who were generously praising the pendant and how they experienced miracles after wearing them. The first thought that came to my mind was, how can wearing certain pendant help people, and the immediate thought after that was that who so ever has invented the pendant  is actually trying to buy people’s fear, for f he was actually concerned about prosperity of all he would have taught people the right attitude of fighting tough times and would have related it to the best learning period of their lives.

All of us fear failure, be it off a relationship, business, career, study or any other thing. While I thought that the person was shameless that he was selling God and claimed to sell his blessing’s but later I realized It was not his mistake but it was a mistake of people with low will power and poor faith who gave others chance to buy their fear and fool them. If wearing such things could have improved someone’s life, people around would have been more successful and happy all the time, then why is it that it’s the other way round. How can a blind belief be stronger than your deeds. If you think that wearing such things would suddenly make drastic change in your life then it’s wrong, for its only faith and the hard work in right directions that lead to success, yes I do agree that at times our hard work doesn’t pay back immediately, but for people with right attitude it is the only source of satisfaction and inspiration.

It is important to understand the difference between faith and blind faith, it’s important to accept failures as our weakness and learn to fight them.
