When they say travelling teaches you, it is really meant that way. More because you get to know new culture people and places. The way people handle situation also differs from person to person.
Two such instances of Goa that touched my heart come here, and they urge a need for me to write this blog today. We all are social animals and hence have certain social responsibilities that are to be fulfilled which more or less each one of us either forgets or hesitates and most of the time we stay selfish, all these scenarios cause unrest in society.
As my tourist bus passed by the thin lanes of north Goa I was surprised to see the kind of co-operative people they were, none of them hesitated to move back and create ways for each other. They rather moved logically and used their brain in right manner unlike egoistic people in other states. This ensured that traffic moved smoothly. It was just one example of social responsibility that impressed me and made me share it here. Other instance that left an impact was as follows; when asked for bill I gave 100 rupee note for the payment of 55, and the gentleman politely returned me 50, as he didn’t have 5 rupee change. While this was just a small gesture but was deep enough to leave impact. He never argued, he didn’t keep extra money, all he did was silently adding to customer delight, the amount would have made no difference to him or me, but it was his intentions that left an impact.
You may look for many such examples in daily life and appreciate little efforts made by others, and when someone adds that smile to you or leaves impact, think how can you return it back to society. We all ought to obey our social responsibilities.
