Today's inspiration comes from an old lady who was begging for some food at azadpur red light. As she approached my cab, I realised I had one Parantha in my bag, I quickly took it out and gave it to her. As I did so I realised that I was sitting hungry as well though I had food right in my bag. This situation would generally be analysed under the common proverb we have in Hindi, daney daney pe likha hain khaney wale ka naam.
I chose to analyse it in a different manner, have you ever thought how engrossed you get in work to earn a good living but you often skip your meals for it, you sacrifice your time with your loved ones, you May be wearing good clothes and going to good office, roaming in cars, but have you ever analysed how poor you are inspite of having everything. Look at that poor who works hard for food and has it immediately, who lives together with loved ones as he values the real treasure of being together. I am left thinking how to define rich or poor and who falls in which category.
