It’s not today but for years that I have observed people cluttering metro coaches that stop close to elevators or escalators. Many of them miss boarding the metro too but never move towards the last 2 coaches which are mostly less filled.
Even if you have two sides of stairs people chose walking on that side which is closest to the turn. This side always gets cluttered while very few walk on the other side. People chose to wait for elevators for long durations while they are capable of taking stairs and saving time.
Examples like these portray a very different behavioural aspect of humans. Most of us don’t always acknowledge an opportunity forget utilising it. We conveniently chose inconvenience as part or laziness. A lot of us don’t care of how we can take control of certain things and make life simpler, we blindly chose to follow a ritual lost in some illusion of how life is tough. Owing to our limited vision and copying acts of others blindly we miss on many opportunities that are available.
