Have you ever thought that what is that takes you to any holy place? even I wasn’t too aware of how the reason behind makes the entire difference until today afternoon or probably last night when I had analyzed it for self and made my mind to have a different reason on visiting the Gurudwara and be conscious enough about it. A daily ritual that started with attaining mental peace and feeling content was the reason when I was performing the daily ritual which when changed to Saturday’s was more about accompanying my loved ones and as the ritual turned into two weekly days I dint even realize when my reason to go there was to fight my fear. I felt ashamed of myself, thinking that how could I be so ignorant to the fact and be so negative in my approach, when and how my fear over ruled my faith. He who has given us life and is responsible for our happiness, takes care of all our desires, then why is it that we go to him having fears in mind. Why do we rather not have faith in him and express gratitude for giving us the opportunity to be at his service for one more day.
It’s important to have faith in God then being God fearing, for fear is a self-generated emotion that is a resultant of some selfish motive. While faith is the purest form of surrender and when we truly surrender our lives to him he ensures that only the best happens to us, this might be in best interest of our learnings or fulfillment of wishes both silent or loud.
