What is your way?
All of us have heard that there is an easy way and then there is a right way, but what I discover today is that most of us often follow a third and a fourth way, that we rarely discuss.
This thought crossed my mind when I was fiddling with my phone to find a contact detail. What's the big deal about finding a contact when you have a smart phone in hand? I would confess here that I didn't use my smart phone smartly enough by either giving a voice command to call xyz, neither did I had this frequently called contact of mine on favorites list nor did I type the name of my friend to get the contact details immediately, I rather chose to scroll down my call history to find the contact and that is when I discovered that most of us often use the third way- the convenient way. This path has no set definition, consistency or efficiency. The beauty of this path is that it changes as per our awareness, mood and ego.
At times we are not vigilant enough and hence remain oblivious to our surroundings, there by failing to follow smart way, this is often a resultant of not chosing to listen to others opinion and learning through experience, there by creating a world of, "what I think or what I know is always right". All this results in the invention of the fourth way; MY way, which further leads to sentences like, "but I always do it this way" or "I have always done it this way".
There might also be many other ways that you discover by analyzing your day to day lives. Whatever be your way? Practice it only after measuring the pros and cons whilst keeping your goal and available time in mind.
