As I stepped out of the tower mom asked me, so have you written your blog for the day? I said no I am yet to write it, but am still looking for something that really inspires me and while I said this I knew I would find it on my way to Gurudwara or there itself. It started breezing really strong when I was on the way to Gurudwara, after I stepped out of the Puja Grah, I observed that they were many candles that devotees have lighted, but they struggled to keep burning because of the strong breeze. In a while most of them were blown off and only few of them could win the battle to keep burning. I reached there and started burning all the candles that were blown off by the wind, while I did so I kept first few candles on the same position from where I picked them but realized that they wouldn’t be able to survive for long at those positions and hence I started keeping them at a place that kept them away from direct impact of wind. After few minutes all candles were lit again and stood next to each other lighting up the place beautifully. It was a beautiful feeling that I lived in those few moments and a very positive aura that surrounded me.
Learning form this incident was very simple, we often keep wishing for ourselves and leave the wish to be completed, how many times have we took a step ahead to complete a wish for others or be a medium of fulfilling someone else’s wish. These candles were some ones prayer and wishes, here I considered myself as a medium to ensure that they burn completely and may the respective wishes assigned to them come true.
Next time when someone comes to you with high hopes before you choose to refuse to assist analyze and if you feel you have the capability of fulfilling someone’s wish by taking just a small initiative or some precious moments from your life, please go ahead and give that person the joy of his/her wish getting fulfilled and feel the same joy living in you. You never know who is silently working hard to fulfill your wishes.
