Relationships
your USP

A new add from Maruti, is the source of inspiration for today’s blog, but as I start writing this blog I recollect something similar that I had written few months back which was related to the music that was playing in Gurudwara and that one word that kept me connected to it. The first impression of the add was really bad and I was wondering what’s wrong with the person who has made it and what’s even further wrong with person who approved it and a big company like Maruti was using it for promotion. After listening to the add for second time I realized that they were actually trying to add a word in the jingle that attracts people and works as a reminder in their mind. I still feel the choice of that one word could have been better than the current word used, which is “uchaling”. Let’s not focus on what they have done to the jingle I any which ways have promoted it a little more by mentioning it in my blog ;).

Each one of us has that one quality that enables us to connect through people around us, sometimes we know it and sometimes we are unaware of it. If you want to look back to find that one word You must start reviewing the comments of people on you, your friends and acquaintances, what is that one thing about you that each one of them ever spoke about?  What is it that you felt was common in all your interactions with all these people around. That one thing that helped you connect through all is your USP. If you are still unaware of it, introspect. For once you have identified it you can start working on it more positively and make it your biggest strength. Each one of us has that one quality that makes us unique, the quality may not be unique but the way you practice it makes you different and aids you to connect through people.

Identify one, and see how it works wonders for you.
