analyse present before past

I entered my class around 25 minutes late, yes I was embarrassed and hesitant to enter as I knew I would be disturbing the class, but I was keen to go as I didn't want to miss on an important topic. When I found a seat for myself I asked the gentleman sitting next, what is sir teaching today? He told me the heading and I started copying notes from his copy, after I had written few lines I found out that in order to register what I had already missed I was missing what I was presently witnessing and there came the inspiration for the day, many a times in life we subconsciously start missing the present in order to see what we missed in past not realising that what is most important now is what you are currently experiencing for it has the power to make a deeper impact than past. Even if you want to analyse what you have missed in past it should be done in a manner that your present is least affected. Always value your present more than past or future.
