Messages are the most common and amongst the quickest source of communication now days. While these are a boon but a misinterpretation may lead to misunderstandings.

Meaning of these messages is not only dependent on the words written in them but is highly dependent on the readers state of mind. It’s important for the reader to be neutral and not make perceptions. As a reader you have choice on understanding the message your own way and perceive it in the tone you want to. One way to deal in appropriate manner to the messages is to just read the fact and stop looking for double meanings, if at all you have a confusion it’s good to sort it out with the sender rather than making perceptions and living in misunderstandings. Though we all know that words have the power to make or break but it’s your perception and understanding of such silent words that have a greater power.

Use message as a quick source of communication of facts but don’t replace them with the most effective communication that is one on one in person.
