As I decide to bring an end to a long day, I get a call from my mother saying stay back at office for some more time. Don't leave for home as they are protests going on here. I decide to wait for sometime and later move towards home. On the way to home I recall what many a people have done during protests and how they have contradicted their own decisions. I ask myself, What is a protest? Why do people do it? As per my understanding A protest is a movement against some acts or decisions that have a potential to cause ill effect or discomfort to general audience who are directly impacted through such decisions. However we keep listening in news and read in papers that protesters blocked ways, burnt vehicles. Got into fights or did many other acts that usually just increase dis-comfort to general public. Why is it that they forget that a solution to a problem can't be found by increasing problems for others but can be found by conveying message to right authorities. It is understood that authorities in India don't react until there is a bang but the bang is not to be made through disturbing the general public but is rather to be made by showing its negative impact and the consequences it May create. You can't even imagine where you would end up if you just started creating problems after problems against each problem you faced.
