Religion; State of your mind

I don’t really know the source of inspiration for today’s blog, but I just had some questions running in my mind that resulted in this blog. What is religion? And how were various religions formed? We all know that our grand ancestors were not born divided into various religions but many years later we did have religions which we all carry today as part of ancestral privilege. We are so obsessed with these privileges that we often forget a common attribute that we all share and that is humanity. We all share common emotions positive and negative, we all believe in faith and fear but just have different images/thoughts in our mind that aid us fighting the tough times. coming back to my own question, “what is religion?”,  this is what I could understand.

As we grew over ages our minds evolved and so did our thought processes, since we all were different in nature and had our own vision, we started forming our opinions on situations and everything around us. When more and more people of similar thought processes interacted to each other and came together they formulated a group that had similar thoughts and daily practices and hence formulated a religion.

The Ego that persists in us always poked us to define self as right and others as wrong there by resulting into various disputes in our thought processes and made us rigid to what we had “limited knowledge” and here we live today with our rigidities and barriers to understand what actually life is, we live with our limited thought process without feeling the need to explore more and respect difference of opinions. We have closed ourselves in a darkness that can only be enlightened with open mindedness and acceptance of all.

I leave this blog here for you to understand and follow what you believe and think.
